Verizon Droid X starting in July and then in August Droid 2
Verizon customers looking for high-end Android phone face a difficult choice this summer. Do you go with a super slim Droid X , or opt for a continuation of the best selling phone ever Android Droid 2
Both phones are rumored to be the new TI OMAP3630(which may be Android fastest CPU yet), it really boils down to the individual need for a keyboard, but there may be some differences in the initial software too.
BGR reports that a reliable source has informed Verizon will start their first X Droid in July and followed that with Droid 2 in August. I heard that, initially, we would launch Verizon two phones Motorola in July , so we are not sure whether the Droid 2 got delayed, or is anonymous third device around the corner.
If the source is to believe, Droid 2, at a later date to launch so that Motorola may update it to 2.2 before you run Android. It could be possible to ship the device with the Android 2.1 in July, but wisely decided to top someone to wait for Android 2.2. Droid X is ready to work with Android Android 2.1 and 2.2 update is scheduled to start.
I think that both phones are the winner, but we have to wait and see what Motorola has done with their custom UI, Motoblur. It has been reported that Motorola UI is less invasive and can not wait to see how it stacks with the HTC Sense UI.
